How we handle your photos

GMG Photos powers event galleries for Goosewin Media Group. The short version: we store photos for the event, we only match faces when you opt in, and we delete everything on request.

What we store

Photos uploaded by the photographer, basic metadata (when the file was taken, file size), and access logs (timestamp, hashed IP, user-agent) so we can detect abuse.

Selfie matching

When you submit a selfie, we generate a face embedding scoped to this one event. We compare it against faces detected in the event, discard the selfie itself, and delete embeddings when the event is archived or you ask us to forget you.

Forget me

Use the forget link from the header, or email hello@goosewin.com. We delete your guest record, any matches, and the face embedding generated from your selfie.
